Good morning! It’s the first day of October, and we are once again starting the day with mild temperatures in the 60s. Temperatures will soar into the mid 80s today, which is about 5-7 degrees above average for this time of year. A few clouds will be around early before the sunshine takes over this afternoon. Humidity levels will gradually drop this evening, setting the stage for comfortable temperatures tonight.

Temperatures will be slightly cooler from Thursday through Saturday as a dry air mass settles in behind Imelda. Highs will range from 77 to 81 each day with overnight lows in the 50s. A few mountain communities could even drop into the 40s Thursday and Friday night! Temperatures will slowly climb back into the mid 80s Sunday into next week as moisture returns from the Gulf.
