CLEVELAND -- The Detroit Tigers will use their same lineup in Game 2 as they deployed in the opener.

The Tigers play the Cleveland Guardians in the second game of the American League Wild Card Series on Wednesday at 1:08 p.m. at Progressive Field.

With a victory, the Tigers will advance to the AL Division Series to play the Seattle Mariners. A win by the Guardians would force a decisive Game 3 on Thursday.

Catcher Jake Rogers; infielders Trey Sweeney and Andy Ibanez; and outfielders Jahmai Jones and Justyn-Henry Malloy will be available off the bench. The full lineup is below.

Tigers right-hander Casey Mize (14-6, 3.87 ERA) will face Guardians right-hander Tanner Bibee (12-11, 4.24).

Mize was 14-6 with a 3.87 ERA in 28 starts in 2025. He struck out 139 and walked 36 in 149 innings.
