PHOENIX (AZFamily) — An investigation is underway after a possible road rage freeway shooting in west Phoenix Wednesday morning.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) says details remain limited at this time, but troopers were called to the shooting on the westbound lanes of Interstate 10 near 43rd Avenue.

No information has been released about a victim or suspect at this time.

Arizona’s Family news drone showed a bullet hole in the windshield of a red Toyota Corolla. A large pool of blood was also next to the driver’s side door.

Drivers should expect delays if traveling on I-10; the HOV and left lanes are blocked. Freeway traffic cameras showed several vehicles and patrol SUVs pulled off to the shoulder.

This is a breaking news story. The story will be updated once more info
