Lincoln father accused in death of his daughter will go to trial

LINCOLN, Neb. —

A Nebraska father will go to trial in the death of his infant daughter.

The case dates back to Aug. 14, when a man, who was identified as Ryan Greenwood, called 911 to report the death of his 4-month-old child.

PREVIOUS COVERAGE:

The child had injuries consistent with non-accidental trauma, according to investigators.

Greenwood was arrested for child abuse resulting in death.

On Wednesday, Greenwood waived his preliminary hearing, and the case has been bound over to district court.

His next court date is set for Oct. 15.
