BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A Baton Rouge man is facing multiple charges after an investigation by the St. Gabriel Police Department into improper sexual behavior with a juvenile.
Rashawn A. Briggs, 19, was charged with first-degree rape, sexual battery, computer-aided solicitation of juveniles, pornography involving juveniles, and contributing to the delinquency of juveniles.
Law enforcement confirmed Briggs was found with a girl around 12 years old on Thursday, Oct. 2.
As the investigation unfolded, police said they learned that Briggs "engaged in sexual conduct with the juvenile."
Briggs was taken into custody and transported to the St. Gabriel Police Department for processing.
