ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - A man is wanted for allegedly beating his ex-girlfriend during a home invasion in DeKalb County on Wednesday evening, according to police.

The incident happened at the Walden Brook Apartment Homes, located at the 100 block of Walden Brook Drive in Stonecrest, at around 5 p.m. Officers found a woman suffering from various lacerations and bruises, who was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Police believe the victim’s ex-boyfriend forced himself inside the apartment, and when she tried to escape, he started hitting her. She eventually escaped, and the ex-boyfriend left the scene.

No arrests have been made, as the investigation is ongoing. Police have also not identified the suspect.
