FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — Fulton County Animal Services is urging community members to adopt or foster dogs due to the lack of capacity to house dozens of furry animals.
Animal Services said the shelter is 60 dogs over capacity, and they must be placed in homes by 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 2. A number of dogs were adopted on Thursday morning, reducing the number of dogs needing to be saved.
As of 4 p.m. on Thursday afternoon, roughly 30 dogs need to be adopted by 8 p.m. tonight or they will get euthanized. The dogs, who are very well-behaved and friendly, were surrendered through no fault of their own.
You can foster them with all the supplies given to you or adopt them for FREE!
If the animals are not placed in time, Animal Services said they will be forced to make heartbreaking decisions.
