As Bell undergoes rigorous treatments in Philadelphia, his community is coming together to raise funds for him through a chicken BBQ on Oct. 18 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Derry Township Police Department.
"Law enforcement, policing is a family and when one of our people is affected by something, or is impacted by something, we rally around and have that family dynamic," said Chief Garth Warner.
Tickets cost $12 and there is also a bake sale. Contact the department or email Dale Ne
