Rock the South, a popular music festival originally from Cullman, announced it will move to Decatur for its June 2026 event.
The new 150-acre site off Gordon Terry Parkway is now owned by PeachTree Entertainment, who owns the festival, allowing more expansion options like engineered drainage, additional shade, and a new fan zone with a second stage.
"We did this so we could create a better experience for the fans. We want to be able to hold a larger capacity and we want to be able to create a site that’s more weather resilient," said Michael McBrayer, director of government relations for PeachTree Entertainment.
