THE VILLAGE, Okla. (KFOR) — There was a stunning discovery for some metro police officers on Wednesday.
Dozens of dogs, some described as possibly on the brink of death, were found living inside a home.
The dogs are now in the care of animal control, but proof that they were there is still evident.
"There are 15 dogs at least," one officer said over his body camera footage.
Newly obtained body camera footage showed the moment the Village Police officers opened the door of a home on Churchill Way.
They were called to help animal control with a case of animal cruelty, but they weren't prepared for what came next.
Officers say 30 dogs were found living inside the home.
"There is more closed off in these rooms. We have got at least four right there," another officer said over his body c
