SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — A San Angelo man has been arrested for allegedly hitting a woman with his truck "at a high rate of speed" after an argument about cheating was sparked, according to an affidavit.

The Tom Green County Sheriff's Office inmate roster states that Saul Mendoza Jr., 26, was booked into the Tom Green County Detention Center at 6:03 a.m. on Oct. 3 with a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. As of the time of publication, he remains there without a posted bond.

The affidavit

According to an affidavit filed in Tom Green County in relation to the case, law enforcement members were dispatched to the 1800 block of La Mesa Lane on Oct. 3 in response to an individual struck by a motor vehicle.
