Two Nuneaton women have been charged after a businessman was abused on camera during a Sky News report in Nuneaton . Warwickshire Police has confirmed that two women from the town are set to appear in court.
It follows an incident in Queens Road back in August where a local businessman was abused on camera during a Sky News report. Warwickshire Police Force has said that two women now face charges.
Amy Palmer, aged 30, of Dugdale Street, and Annette Cook, aged 43, of Cross Street, have been charged with causing racially/religiously aggravated harassment/alarm/distress by words/writing and using threatening/abusive words/behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress.
The pair will appear in court next month to face the allegations.
