A van 'full of cannabis' was dumped in Warwickshire after Thames Valley police chase. The cloned Peugeot Expert van was initially clocked by Thames Valley officers in Banbury.

Warwickshire Police Operational Patrol Unit (OPU) said that it had been involved in a robbery where a cannabis grow was targeted and a large amount of plants taken. The police chase led from Banbury onto Warwickshire, where the local team joined in to help.

As a result, they used a stinger to deflate the tyres on A429 between Wellesbourne and Barford. But this was not the end of the chase.

In fact, more officers were called into action, including the police dog team and the National Police Air Service (NPAS).
