CRAIGSVILLE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Craigsville man has been arrested following a shooting that left another man injured early Saturday morning, according to the Nicholas County Sheriff’s Department.

Deputies said the incident occurred around 2:48 a.m. on October 4 at a residence on Fourth Street in Craigsville.

According to investigators, four individuals were at the home of Kenneth Allen Butler, 62, when a physical altercation broke out between Butler and another man, Steven Michael Davis.

During the fight, a handgun was introduced and taken from Butler, authorities said.

A second handgun was then brought out, and Butler allegedly fired multiple times, hitting Simeon M. Spencer, 24, of Richwood, in the lower leg.
