LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Fire Oven Pizza in Cardinal Towne had its liquor license immediately suspended after Louisville Metro Alcoholic Beverage Control investigated and discovered underage drinking.
The restaurant at 323 W. Cardinal Boulevard was investigated by ABC on Thursday, Oct. 2 by ABC detectives. According to a release from the ABC, when detectives entered the restaurant, they saw several underage drinkers; some even tried running out of the back exits. Detectives began checking the IDs of patrons and cited nine people for underage drinking. The release said one person was “under the influence.”
Because so many people under 21 could drink alcohol and the restaurant’s failure to regulate its service, the ABC issued an Emergency Suspension Order, which immediately stops Fire Oven Pizz
