BOWLING GREEN — Nate Pabst has gotten the opportunity to celebrate a win in the Battle of I-75 in enemy territory twice in his Bowling Green State University football career.
There’s nothing the Falcons’ fifth-year senior offensive lineman wants more than to earn a victory over Toledo in an orange-and-brown-filled Doyt Perry Stadium.
“It’d mean the world to me,” Pabst said. “I would love to see all of our fans celebrate here in the Doyt.
“We’ve won it on the road the last two times we’ve been down there, but being able to celebrate with your home fans is something special, something different about that. I love winning on the road, but winning at home just means a little bit more, seeing all those fans. It would mean the world to me seeing all those happy fans there.”
