KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Bar and restaurant owners in the Kansas City area are prepping for a busy Monday night. The Chiefs take on the Jags in a Monday Night Football showdown.

A big watch party is set for Monday in what's known as "the Living Room of Kansas City," the Kansas City Power and Light District, should be quite the scene downtown.

Doors opened in the KC Live! Block at 5 p.m. on Monday for the Chiefs Watch Party. They're expecting hundreds of people.

Businesses owners said they're looking forward to the crowd that Chiefs games typically bring in.

“Now it's like a machine, right, we just know what we do,” Anna Lindt said.

She’s a managing partner with Johnny's Tavern at Power and Light District.
