BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - A Bangor man was taken to the hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a vehicle while riding his bike on the Burleigh Road Saturday morning.

According to Bangor Police, the man was attempting to go around a vehicle that had pulled to the side of the road when he was hit.

Police say the driver of the vehicle was uninjured and is cooperating with the investiagtion.

They say there are no charges at this time.
