BOISE, Idaho — Two West Ada schools and a district building were placed on lockdown Monday afternoon as police investigated suspicious activity in a parking lot, officials said.
The lockdown was no longer in effect by 4:15 p.m.
The West Ada School District (WASD) said the Idaho Fine Arts Academy, Renaissance High School and the District Service Center were on lockdown as a "precautionary measure while Meridian police investigate suspicious activity in the Renaissance parking lot."
The lockdown happened just after the students were going to be released, officials said.
