MEDINA, Ohio (WOIO) - Court records reveal alarming new details surrounding a case involving a Lorain County man who died while having three of his teeth pulled.

Last year, a civil lawsuit was filed against Dr. Faisal Quereshy , the Medina surgeon who performed the procedure.

The medical/dental negligence lawsuit alleges Quereshey caused the death of Matthew Miller, 48, in August 2023.

Miller’s wife filed it a year after his death.

The suit also names Case Western Reserve University and one of their dental school students — who allegedly assisted Quereshey in the operating room when the man died.
