SHREVEPORT, La. - It’s the fastest-growing sport in America, but before Caddo Parish builds a new Pickleball complex in Southeast Shreveport, commissioners Thursday gave the public its clearest look yet at how the idea could move from concept to construction -- but commissioners want residents to know: no votes, no approvals -- at least not yet.

The Commission's Economic Development Committee meeting was purely informational, opening with clarification from Caddo Parish Commissioner Greg Young.
