Haryana's senior IPS officer Y Puran Kumar committed suicide. He shot himself at his government residence located in Sector-11, Chandigarh. Y Puran Kumar was an officer of ADGP rank. Chandigarh Police have reached the spot. It has not yet come to light why he committed suicide. Officials are investigating the matter.
