Widespread rain chances through Tuesday night

Rain will move through from the west as a cold front passes. Some may see thunderstorms and localized heavy rainfall. There are no major impacts expected, although in places where we see torrential downpours, ponding on roads and flash flooding could be possible. Rain will begin to fizzle out this evening, but will pick back up overnight in the southeast. Overall, most will see 1-1.5″ of rain through the day, with a few who may get closer to 2-3″.
