Dramatic new footage has been released showing the aftermath of a shocking crash where a police car was rammed during an alleged joyride involving stolen vehicles.

The incident unfolded on the Gold Coast , Queensland , in the early hours of Sunday morning, with five teenagers now facing a string of serious charges.

The video, captured by police body cam, shows the chaos left behind after the teens allegedly tried to flee on foot following the crash.

“This is where the police vehicle was parked and has subsequently been moved,” an officer can be heard describing the scene.
