CALHOUN COUNTY, Mich. — A Pennfield man was arrested Monday for allegedly distributing child sexually abusive material online.
Calhoun County detectives began investigating the electronic distribution of child sexually abusive material and identified a 35-year-old Pennfield man as a suspect.
The sheriff's office Special Response Team executed a search warrant at the man's home Monday and arrested him without incident.
This investigation is still underway. The Calhoun County Prosecutor’s Office will decide whether to issue any charges against the man.
"The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office takes these disturbing cases seriously and remains dedicated to getting offenders off the streets and away from our children," the sheriff's office wrote in a press release.
