Lace up your shoes, the 20th Annual Buddy Walk steps off in Forsyth Park later this month!

Lowcountry Down Syndrome Society president, Candy Bogardus, and her daughter Lainey, sat down with WSAV's Kim Gusby to talk about the massive event that attracts thousands of participants each year.

20th Annual Buddy Walk Forsyth Park Saturday, Oct. 18 Opening: 10 a.m. Buddy Walk begins at 10:30 a.m.

The Family Fun event will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Registration for Buddy Walk 2025 is $15. Those who register will receive a Buddy Walk T-shirt.
