In honor of Fire Safety Week, Middleway Fire Department hosted a Community Day, highlighting skills and expertise of local firefighters and emergency responders. Different departments joined in to show equipment, to demonstrate extrication and to inform the public about the rigors of emergency response. Other vendors also arrived to share information about their organizations and to present a well-rounded gathering for all.
