BEREA, Ohio (WKBN) - NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero are reporting that the Cleveland Browns are trading veteran quarterback Joe Flacco and a 2026 sixth-round draft pick to the Cincinnati Bengals.
In exchange, the Browns receive a 2026 fifth-round draft pick.
This season, Flacco started four games for Cleveland, posting a record of 1-3.
He completed 58.1% of his passes for 815 yards with two touchdowns and six interceptions.
The Browns benched Flacco in favor of rookie Dillon Gabriel last week. The trade means that fellow rookie Shedeur Sanders moves up to the backup spot for the Browns at the moment.
The Bengals are Flacco's sixth NFL team, and the third in the AFC North. He previously played for the Ravens, Broncos, Jets, Browns and Colts.
