LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Emergency crews say no one was injured in an accident involving a small jet that went off the end of the runway while landing at Bowman Field.

The incident happened Tuesday, Oct. 7, around 10:20 a.m. Emergency services personnel received reports that a plane had gone off a runway at the airport. That plane was a Cessna 525B that sat eight people. Crews arrived and determined there were no injuries.

Natalie Chaudoin, spokesperson for the Louisville Regional Airport Authority, confirmed that the plane overran runway 33, and came to rest on Seneca Golf Course, which is at the end of that runway. Chaudoin said the golf course is approximately 370 feet beyond the end of the runway.
