AWENDAW, S.C. (WCSC) - The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a stolen tractor in Awendaw.

Deputies say a Kubota tractor was stolen between Sept. 29 and Sept. 30 from the 1000 block of Butterfly Lane.

The tractor has two broken taillights and a front-mounted loader bucket.

This type of tractor’s keys are often interchangeable, and deputies say it might have been driven off the property. The tractor may still be in the areas of upper Mount Pleasant, Awendaw or McClellanville.

Information on a suspect or type of equipment used to move the tractor is currently unknown.

Anyone with any information or who has seen the tractor is urged to call Det. Michael Thompson at 843-554-2471 or email methompson@charlestoncounty.org.
