MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCSC) - A Mount Pleasant man faces 10 charges related to sexually explicit material involving underage children, the state’s Attorney General’s Office says.

Phenix Mashburn, 19, is charged with 10 counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, according to a release from the attorney general’s office.

Investigators say a CyberTipline report led them to Mashburn, who they say had files of child sexual abuse material.

He was arrested on Thursday and faces up to 10 years of prison on each of the 10 counts if he is convicted.
