CENTRE COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) -- A Michigan man is behind bars after being caught by troopers with packages of marijuana after a traffic stop in Marion Township.
Asiel Gonzales Cabrera, 36, is facing charges, including possession with intent to deliver, after State Police stopped him while traveling along Interstate 80 at the beginning of October.
According to the criminal complaint, Troopers initially conducted a traffic stop of Cabrera due to having a dark tint and not moving over for a disabled tractor-trailer. After identifying the driver as Cabrera, the officer alleged to smell marijuana coming from within the vehicle. Due to that, Cabrera was asked to get out of his vehicle.
Authorities say an official translator was needed to assist in speaking with Cabrera due to the language barrie
