LOUISVILLE, Ky. —
Two men were arrested in connection with the theft of credit cards from older women in Louisville.
Now, we know one of those suspects is a pastor, and he was on his way to church when he was taken into custody.
Virgil Mozee, 64, and Nathaniel Porter III, 52 , are facing multiple charges.
During a two-week period in September, police say the men defrauded three women, the oldest, 81, out of more than $5,000.
Surveillance video caught them in the act at stores where the thefts occurred. Investigators say that while shoppers were not looking, the men reached into the victims’ carts, grabbed their wallets and later purchased hundreds of dollars in gift cards.
