A Waterloo man has been arrested for allegedly breaking into a home and threatening to shoot the people inside, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 19 year old Markwon Stevens and another person allegedly broke into a home on Courtland Street at around 11:00 p.m. on Monday night and threatened to shoot everyone inside. The residents fled and called police. Stevens and the other intruder were leaving the house just as police arrived on scene. Both alleged perpetrators were taken into custody. The gun Stevens allegedly had in his possession was found in a boot near the home’s back door. Police also found a stolen TV remote in the other person’s backpack.
