A Madisonville man is facing charges after he allegedly made a false report and assaulted two officers.

Kevin Scott called 9-1-1 to report that someone was walking around in his attic.

Once on scene, police say Scott was unable to stay still or make eye contact.

He kept walking away from officers when they tried to speak to him, leading them to place him in custody.

As he was being placed inside the patrol car, he allegedly kicked two police officers.

During a search, Scott was found to have meth in his possession.

His charges include assault of an officer and false reporting, which generates an emergency response.
