SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) sent a cyber tip to San Angelo law enforcement to arrest a San Angelo man in jail for child sexual abuse material.

56-year-old, Sammy Soto, was arrested at 11:11 a.m. for possession of child pornography. The charge in Soto's arrest affidavit shows Soto had between 100 to 500 images on his devices. It also shows that he has a bond of $150,000.

Soto's affidavit stated that on Sept. 17, 2025, Google became aware of these images being uploaded using their systems. Google reported to NCMEC Soto had uploaded 80 images suspected of containing child pornography to Google Photos and Google Drive.
