DENVER (KDVR) -- The Regional Transportation District is adding train cars to regular scheduled service on the D, E and W Lines before and after a Paul McCartney concert at Coors Field on Saturday, Oct. 11.
The additional train cars are being added to support an "expected increase in ridership" during the event, which will be near a number of rail lines and bus routes at the nearby Denver Union Station, RTD said Tuesday.
"The venue’s close proximity to ... Denver Union Station makes taking public transit a safe and convenient way to attend the event," the agency said in a release.
RTD said the added lines will directly serve Union Station and that buses and trains will operate their Saturday service as scheduled.
The concert is at 7:30 p.m., and final departures to keep in mind on Satu
