Javi Gracia says he has unfinished business and big ambitions for the season after returning to Watford for his second spell as head coach.
Gracia was confirmed as the Hornets’ new boss on Tuesday, as Paulo Pezzolano was sacked after just ten games in charge. That’s despite Watford sitting 11th in the Championship, just three points off the play-off places.
Gracia returns for his second spell at Vicarage Road, having led the club between January 2018 and September 2019, in a spell that included an 11th-placed Premier League finish and an FA Cup final. He is the club’s 12th boss in the six years since his first exit - with one of those 12 also being current Middlesbrough boss Rob Edwards.
