Construction work will cause closures on Interstate 64 and Tucker in the coming days, according to the Missouri Department of Transportation.

Crews will close both lanes of the ramp from westbound I-64 across the Poplar Street Bridge to southbound Interstate 55/westbound Interstate 44 Thursday from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning to make pavement repairs.

Also, crews will close Tucker under I-64 to make repairs to bridge girders struck by a salt truck last winter. Starting Friday at 9 a.m., crews will close Tucker Boulevard under the interstate between Chouteau Avenue and Spruce Avenue. In addition, crews will close two right lanes on eastbound I-64 that night, starting at 7 p.m. for the repair work. One lane on I-64 will reopen Monday by 5 a.m. The second lane and Tucker Boulevar
