CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - The spookiest time of year is upon us, and soon, little ghouls and goblins will be ringing doorbells to proclaim, “Trick or treat!”

Halloween is on Friday, Oct. 31, but festivities start as early as Friday, Oct. 17.
