LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- The Southern Nevada Health District announced Wednesday that updated COVID-19 vaccines are now available at its immunization clinics.
According to a release from SNHD, the vaccines are currently available for all individuals 6 months and older with private insurance and adults with Medicaid coverage.
Those who want to get the vaccine should confirm that it is covered by their insurance provider, as they may recieve a bill if their plan does not cover it.
Vaccines for uninsured and underinsured people and those who receive vaccines through the Vaccines for Children program or the federal Section 317 program will be available in the coming weeks, the release stated.
“Getting vaccinated is one of the best steps people can take to protect their health and the health of
