PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- The Prince George's County State's Attorney announced that a teen will be tried as an adult in court after a deadly crash left a mother dead.
Tara Jackson said Wednesday that Michael Collins was indicted on theft, unlawful taking of a motor vehicle, unauthorized removal of a motor vehicle, rogue and vagabond and conspiracy to commit unauthorized removal of a motor vehicle charges.
The charges stemmed from a crash in Seat Pleasant that left 35-year-old Shaunte Canty dead.
The indictment comes nearly a month after the Seat Pleasant Police Department charged four teenagers in the case.
