While Disney+ has been making a lot of noise about its worldwide Hulu launch , the streamer has also quietly been preparing price increases.
As reported earlier this week by The Canadian Press , the cost of Disney+ will go up by as much as $3 in Canada in November, depending on the subscription tier. Here’s the full breakdown:
On its website , Disney said these prices are already in effect for new monthly subscriptions as of September 30. Those who were already subscribed on a monthly plan will see the price change on their bill on or after November 4, while annual subscribers will be affected on or after November 25.
Disney first announced a U.S. price increase at the end of September , and now, it’s introducing similar hikes in Canada, the U.K. and other markets.
