OLD BENNINGTON — Old Bennington village trustees will discuss the planned redevelopment of the iconic Walloomsac Inn property during a public information session in November.

Trustees also plan to invite the new owners, who intend to restore the rambling 18th century structure as an operating inn.

The session was tentatively set for November 4, during the next scheduled board meeting. Trustees said they plan to heavily promote the meeting as a chance for the public to ask questions and learn about the proposed restoration project.

The Walloomsac is vacant and hasn’t been operated as an inn since the 1990s, showing marked exterior deterioration from the elements.
