CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WTRF) — A 19-year-old Ohio man wanted for aggravated murder was arrested Wednesday afternoon in Preston County, according to the U.S. Marshals Service.

Waymon Donat was taken into custody around 2 p.m. at a residence in the 1200 block of Cales Road in Masontown, West Virginia, the agency said in a news release. Donat was wanted by the Cleveland Police Department in connection with an April 5 shooting that left one person dead, police said.

Investigators said Donat was involved in a shootout with other individuals in Cleveland, where a bullet struck a driver who was later pronounced dead at the scene.
