ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A man has been accused of making a false bomb threat at a hotel in Greece.

On Monday night, before 8 p.m., officers arrived at Woodspring Suites on Bellwood Drive in Greece for reports of a bomb in the garbage. No evidence of a bomb or suspicious item was found.

During the investigation, police were able to trace the call back to another hotel — Extended Stay America. They identified the caller as 41-year-old Vincent Roselli.

Police said Roselli, his spouse, and children were asked to leave the Woodspring Suites, which led to the false bomb call. It was alleged that Roselli admitted to the call.

Roselli was arrested and charged with first-degree falsely reporting an incident. He was taken to the Monroe County Jail to await arraignment.
