DENHAM SPRINGS, La. (WAFB) - A man previously arrested on fifty counts of pornography involving juveniles is now facing more charges after additional evidence against him was found, authorities say.
According to deputies, Cory Thames of Denham Springs was originally arrested after the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office was contacted back in September 2024 to assist with an investigation into him. At this time, Thames was an active parolee. Sheriff Jason Ard says that upon arrival on the scene, detectives observed Thames actively on what is known as the “dark web” and browsing child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
Through that investigation, Thames was charged with the previously listed charge and booked into the Livingston Parish Detention Center.
