DANBURY, Conn. — A woman accused of poisoning the father of her child with a chemical commonly used in antifreeze is out on bond Thursday but will have to wear an ankle monitor and submit to house arrest.
Kristen Hogan, of Ridgefield, posted $100,000 on Thursday -- 10% of her $1 million bond. The judge in the case placed a number of stipulations on her release, including issuing five full no-contact protective orders for people involved in the case. Hogan will also be required to wear an ankle monitor, receive intensive probation supervision, and get a mental health evaluation at Danbury Hospital.
When she is released, she must go straight to her grandparents’ home in Massachusetts where she’ll be on house arrest until her next court date.
