NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) - Many parts of the Gulf of America, Sound and Lake Pontchartrain will be under a Small Craft Advisory starting 10 p.m. on Thursday through 10 a.m. on Saturday as we could experience winds up to 23-mph, wind gusts nearing 30-mph and waves up to 8-feet.

As for temperatures, the North Shore will see the mid-to-upper 80s and the South Shore will see the low 80s plus those along the coast to get down to the upper 70s.
