A man has been rushed to hospital in a serious condition following a crash between a Range Rover and motorbike on a busy Aberdeen roundabout.

The incident happened at around 11.40am yesterday (Thursday, October 9) at the roundabout near the King George VI Bridge.

The crash occurred by the roundabout's junction with West Tullos Road, Provost Watt Drive and Great Southern Road.

It involved a grey Range Rover and an orange KTM motorbike.

Emergency services, including police and ambulance crews, rushed to the scene shortly after the alarm was raised.

A 54-year-old man, was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with serious injuries. His condition is described as stable.
